Meet our Teachers
Best Teachers Ever
The teachers at MPM Conservatory (Music Place Mansfield) are talented, educated, and most importantly, inspirational. Our teachers' experience gives them the ability to pass on their love of music, acting, and the Performing Arts in a positive, uplifting, and encouraging way. They understand musicality, stage presence and the art of the performance. In our 14th year, our goal at MPM is to share our love of the Performing Arts with others and to help all of our students, both young and old, "Discover The Arts."
Owner / President / Artistic Director
Alice Bishop has taught piano for over 40 years. In addition to teaching piano, she produces and directs local theater, is an author, host, and speaker. Through her experience, she has refined her own strategies and techniques leading to the curriculum that is now taught at MPM Conservatory, Bishop Method Piano Fun. Her philosophy, “It has to be fun!” is the cornerstone for all of the lessons taught at MPM. Students of MPM Conservatory (Music Place Mansfield) not only continue in their lessons year after year, but many go on to play and perform throughout their lives. Some enjoy careers in the performing arts, while others simply enjoy the gift of playing and sharing their talents. Running the studio may keep her busy, but Mrs. Bishop always has time for our students. Her goal is to provide a fun, welcoming, and inspirational environment where students can grow their gifts and talents, while building their self-esteem and confidence.
